Your digital platform for
global collaboration

Hosted at Le Meridien Jimbaran, the two connected events brought together delegates from leading independent law and accounting firms for a programme focused on strengthening cross-border collaboration, developing future leaders, and preparing member firms for the trends reshaping the professions.

Global CEO Giles Brake, Chief Growth Officer Damien McMenamin and Regional Coordinator for Asia Pacific region, Earl Jopet Nagun, opened the Regional Meeting with an update on Strategy 2030. AGA's next phase, delegates heard, is not simply about being larger, but about becoming more coordinated, more commercially focused and easier for clients to engage with across one of the world's most dynamic regions.

Adoption of Artificial intelligence was a central theme, with an AI Discussion Forum facilitated by Kesterson Kua of SKY Law (Manila, Philippines) and Alex Vrahos of Baumgartners (Melbourne, Australia),, informed by the Alliance’s Annual AI Benchmarking Survey, enabling peer to peer discussion on how AI is changing firms' business models, operations and client relationships. This was followed by a leadership keynote from Alex Lofts during which partner-level delegates were challenged to rethink recruitment, capability-building and next generation training as AI removes routine work and relationships become central to client value.

Delegates also heard from representatives from two of AGA’s newest member firms, Young-jin Kim of Sugar Square Law & Advisors (Seoul, South Korea) and Dominik Heer of AO Accounting & Advisory (Bangkok, Thailand), before the meeting closed with a workshop focused on the alliance’s playbook for winning cross-border business together that was facilitated by former McKinsey & Co consultant, Anang Umaedi of Adi Kirana Solution.

Bridging Today’s Leaders with Tomorrow’s

The Regional Meeting was followed by the alliance’s inaugural leadership Academy, bridging two events between current firm leaders and the next generation. The format proved highly effective with the senior partners and the Academy cohort sharing the same venue, conversations and evening teambuilding activity (an Indonesian cooking class followed by a rooftop BBQ with traditional dancers), before the Academy continued into an intensive two-day programme of its own.

A flagship Strategy 2030 initiative, the Academy focused on leadership capability, cultural intelligence and building an international profile, and connected the region’s rising leaders directly to AGA's global leadership, giving them valuable time with senior partners from across the region.

Many thanks go to our colleagues at local host firm KAP Arief Jauhari for their support and hospitality. AGA now looks forward to welcoming members to its Worldwide Conference in Amsterdam from 11–15 November 2026. Next year’s Asia Pacific Regional Conference will be in Hong Kong from 11-13 March.
