AGA is one of the largest and fastest growing global multidisciplinary alliances, with 220 law and accounting firms operating out of 300 offices in 95 countries.

Maria Gratsia, Managing Partner at Kleopas Alliott Business Consultants in Athens Greece, Selim Ozutez, Partner at ICS Bagimsiz Denetim SMMM A.S in Istanbul, Turkey and Nobert Phiri, Senior Partner at Muvingi & Mugadza Legal Practitioners in Harare, Zimbabwe, will serve maximum five-year terms which became effective 1st November 2023.

The alliance’s regional committees form an important part of AGA’s governance structure by representing the members’ interests and views in their respective regions and by driving forward the region’s strategy in consultation with the Board and Executive Office team.

Maria Gratsia comments:

“It is an honor to be appointed to the EMEA Regional Advisory Committee. I look forward to the challenges ahead and to helping set out AGA’s strategy to target and recruit further law and accounting firms in major commercial centres across the EMEA region.”

Selim Ozutez adds:

“This is an excellent opportunity to help develop AGA’s strong existence further across Europe and the wider EMEA region and to share opinions and perspectives, study challenges, and develop recommendations and strategies with our law and accounting firms’ managing partners effectively and collaboratively together into 2024 and beyond. I am delighted to have been appointed.”

Nobert Phiri comments:

“As a member of the EMEA Regional Advisory Committee, I am delighted that I can now contribute to the strategic planning of our alliance and look forward to representing the interests and views of our growing and market-leading independent law and accounting firms in Zimbabwe and the wider Africa region.”

Maria Zabala, EMEA Chair of Alliott Global Alliance, adds:

“The alliance has significant momentum in the EMEA region, and it is important that we continue to pursue our development targets. I am therefore delighted with the appointment of Maria, Selim, and Nobert to reflect our continued commitment to ensuring we have the right people on the team to help move us forward over the next few years.”

Giles Brake, Alliott Global Alliance’s CEO, concludes:

“We are always excited to elevate members onto our EMEA Regional Committee who enjoy the respect of the other members and who have the skillsets and energy to effect real change within our organisation. The EMEA region is large and diverse and requires committed leaders with strong communication skills and business acumen and who share the alliance’s vision. I look forward to working closely with Maria, Selim, and Nobert in the years to come.”
