Alliott Group, the world’s sixth largest, multidisciplinary alliance of professional services firms, has expanded its presence in the Latin American accounting marketplace by appointing Próximo Auditores as their sole accounting member in Chile.

In May, the alliance took its first steps in Chile by appointing law firm OGL Abogados. The subsequent appointment of Próximo Auditores ensures that Alliott Group is now represented in Chile by two firms that can collectively provide a comprehensive range of professional advisory services to companies and private individuals doing business in Chile. Furthermore, the alliance’s 180 member firms in 75 countries worldwide can now place their clients with vetted and trusted professional firms in one of Latin America’s largest and most dynamic economies.

Founded in 2016 by four ex-Big Four partners, Próximo Auditores has experienced rapid, impressive growth in their first four years of trading. With 25 years combined professional experience, the partners and their team of support staff offer the full range of accounting, tax, and audit services. The firm has specific expertise serving clients in the healthcare, investment, technology, agriculture, manufacturing, and automotive sectors. The firm is also a member of the Financial Market Commission.

Partner Miguel Enrique comments:

“I am delighted that we have been selected as Alliott Group’s accounting firm member in Chile and to represent the global brand in the region. Joining Alliott Group will enable us to tap into the professional, industry and practice management expertise of our new colleagues around the world as part of our strategy to support the growing international needs of our clients, particularly in the US and Europe. We understand the commitment required of being members of an international alliance and have the right mindset to be proactive members of the group in the Latin America region and worldwide.”

Alliott Group COO Giles Brake adds:

“I am really excited to welcome Próximo Auditores to our international alliance and to expand our footprint yet again in Latin America. Miguel and his team represent exactly what we are looking for from our member firms across the world: hunger, ambition, a dynamic approach, and technical excellence across a wide range of service areas. Clients doing business in Chile and across Latin America will be in excellent hands with Próximo Auditores- we welcome all of the team warmly to our global alliance.”

Alliott Group’s Latin American membership is growing organically at a steady rate with new law and accounting members joining in countries across the Latin American continent in the last 12 months, including in: Argentina (Estudio Nunes & Asociados Abogados), Brazil (Consulcamp Auditoria e Assessoria), Mexico (Vazquez Tercero & Zepeda), Costa Rica (DV Business Solutions), Ecuador (Tax Financial Leaders Del Ecuador), Chile (OGL Abogados and Proximo Auditores).
