The firm gained a US client, a consulting firm which has set up one representative office in Beijing and one in Shanghai. Colleagues at Lee & Lee Associates are working alongside financial institutions to provide tax and accounting services and are working with the Group’s corporate headquarters and Chinese governing bodies.

Kemps Weir Lawyers:

Stuart Weir and the team at law firm member in Auckland Kemps Weir have been very busy over the last few months. Their work included referring a relationship property matter to member firm Ellisons Solicitors in the UK.

They have also been working closely with Vanessa Williams at accounting member firm Alliott NZ in Auckland. Work with Vanessa includes:

  • Referring a Chinese trading company that wanted advice on New Zealand tax matters.
  • Referring an Australian plumbing merchant who was moving into the New Zealand market.
  • Kemps Weir also received a shareholder agreement matter from Vanessa Williams plus another referral to prepare terms of trade for a New South Wales (NSW) based client. 

Alliott NZ:

Vanessa Williams at Alliott NZ received a referral from Christian Peintner at accounting firm member in Italy, Peintner Seidner & Partner ("PSP") regarding helping an IT client of his. Vanessa is currently in discussions with the client regarding their proposed business structures in New Zealand.
