Your digital platform for
global collaboration

The initiative forms part of the Alliance’s Strategy 2030, which prioritises helping AGA firms remain future-ready through collaboration, innovation, and the responsible adoption of emerging technologies.

The AI Focus Group will bring together practitioners from across the Alliance to explore practical applications of AI within legal and accounting practices, share insights on emerging tools and regulatory developments, and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and client service.

To help steer the initiative, AGA has established a small, global AI Advisory Board that will guide the direction of the group’s work and the development of resources across the Alliance.

The initiative will be co-led by Tom Dunlap of Washington DC law firm Dunlap, Bennett & Ludwig and Chris Jones of Santa Rosa, CA based accounting firm, Linkenheimer, who will bring complementary perspectives from the legal and accounting professions.

“Artificial intelligence is already beginning to reshape how professional services are delivered,” said Giles Brake, Global CEO of Alliott Global Alliance. “Through our Strategy 2030 agenda, we want to ensure our firms are well positioned to understand and harness these developments. This initiative creates a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and practical guidance across our global alliance.”

Tom Dunlap, Co-Chair of the AI Focus Group, representing AGA's law firms, comments:

“AI presents significant opportunities for firms that approach it thoughtfully. Our goal is to create a forum where our colleagues can share practical experiences, explore emerging tools, and develop frameworks that help firms adopt AI responsibly.”

Chris Jones, Co-Chair representing the accounting profession, adds:

“Professional firms are at different stages of their AI journey. By bringing together expertise from across our global alliance, we can learn from each other and adopt approaches that strengthen both efficiency and client outcomes.”

The AI Focus Group will support professionals through online knowledge sessions, practical guidance, and training opportunities at AGA conferences, ensuring they have  access to insights and tools that can be applied in their day-to-day practice.

AGA expects the initiative to evolve into a collaborative platform where colleagues can exchange experiences and identify best practices to help shape how professional services firms responsibly integrate artificial intelligence into their operations.
