Alliott Global Alliance, (“AGA”) one of the world’s leading multidisciplinary (law and accounting firms) ‘networks’ with 197 member firms in 82 countries, is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted alongside law firm members Ritz Attorneys in Malawi and CQ Legal and Consulting, Ghana, in The African Legal Awards, the continent's most high-profile awards event for the legal profession.
The African Legal Awards, which are due to take place virtually on September 3 recognise exceptional achievement by Africa’s legal elite. Hosted by Law.com International and partnered with the Corporate Counsel Association of South Africa (CCASA) and Africa Legal overall there were a record number of excellent submissions this year from 16 countries, highlighting Africa’s remarkable legal talent.
AGA Member firms submitted entries in various award categories, and we are pleased to congratulate Mr Kwabena Oppong-Kyekyeku at CQ Legal and Consulting who has been shortlisted in the Private Practice Most Promising Newcomer category and the firm is also shortlisted for Capital Markets Team of the Year.
Congratulations too to Ms Tawela Msiska at Ritz Attorneys at Law who has been recognised for the Private Practice Rising Star Award.
The Alliance itself will be competing for the African Legal Network/Alliance of the Year award alongside leading African law firm networks such as LEX Africa and Norton Rose Fulbright South Africa Inc.
