London lawyers Sherrards strengthens their international offering with new Head of Immigration

London lawyers Sherrards Solicitors are delighted to welcome immigration specialist Melissa Vangeen to help strengthen and grow the immigration team.

Melissa has extensive experience in advising both companies and individuals on all types of immigration matters.

Melissa started her legal career in the late 90s at city firm Watson Farley Williams in London where she trained and later became head of department. She has accumulated over twenty years of experience and as Melissa says “there is very little that I haven’t seen, experienced or done in the world of immigration.”

Mark Fellows, Head of Employment, said: “We have already been working with Melissa for about 3 years behind the scenes so it’s a continuation of our journey and I look forward to working even more closely with Melissa.”

Melissa is a dual USA and UK national and is fluent in English, German, French and also basic written Dutch. With her American background, she has developed a very significant American related practice and travels to the States at least 3-4 times a year, regularly visiting the east coast, west coast and the mid-west.
