New York lawyers represent Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages in acquiring Coca-Cola franchise

Alliott Global Alliance's New York law member Golenbock Eiseman Assor Bell & Peskoe recently assisted their clients in acquiring regional Cola Cola beverage bottling/distribution rights in the Tri-State Metropolitan Area.
New York law member Golenbock Eiseman Assor Bell & Peskoe (GEABP) recently helped their clients (and former Coca-Cola Refreshments executives) Paul Mulligan and Fran McGorry, co-CEOs of Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages LLC, to close a deal to acquire exclusive rights to manufacture, distribute, promote, market and sell Coca-Cola beverages in the New York City, Philadelphia and Wilmington metropolitan areas, most of New Jersey and parts of the Hudson Valley and Southern Connecticut.
The deal is part of The Coca-Cola Company's broader plan to refranchise its operations in North America. The Coca-Cola Company is the world’s largest total beverage company.
The new venture, Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages, LLC, is a privately-owned bottler that operates four production facilities and three sales and distribution centres in the region.
As part of the deal, Liberty also acquired the rights to distribute, promote, market and sell certain Dr Pepper/Seven-Up and Monster beverages in portions of the same territory.
GEABP’s representation of the client in this engagement also included helping Liberty to negotiate a credit facility and acquire more than 20 separate real estate interests.
