Seventeen lawyers from Chicago law firm Masuda Funai have been named across some of the most prestigious listings for lawyers in the United States. Fourteen lawyers have been designated as Leading Lawyers, three as Emerging Lawyers and four have been named to the 2019 Super Lawyers list.

2019 Leading Lawyers

The Leading Lawyers designation is limited to less than 5% of lawyers licensed in each state, based on peer recommendations.

The Emerging Lawyers designation is limited to less than 2% of lawyers licensed in each state who are age 40 or younger, unless they have practiced law for 10 years or less, based on peer recommendations.

2019 Super Lawyers

Two Masuda Funai lawyers have been selected to the 2019 Illinois Super Lawyers list and two lawyers have been selected to the 2019 Illinois Rising Stars list.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The patented selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.

The Super Lawyers selection is limited to only 5% lawyers licensed in every state. The Rising Stars selection is limited to only 2.5% lawyers licensed in every state age 40 or younger, or have practiced law for 10 years or less.
