Our digital collaboration
hub has gone live

Hosted by AGA law and accounting member firms in Bucharest Sora & Associates and Prospect Consult SRL, 40 delegates were in attendance at the meeting, the goal of which was to  strengthen relationships between members representing the alliance in their jurisdictions and to discuss and agree how the alliance can ensure it is positioned as the professional services partner of choice to international companies operating across and through this important region of Europe.

Commencing with a welcome from local members Radu Sora and Cristina Ion, AGA CEO Giles Brake and the Executive Office team then offered a strategy overview which included a summary of recent alliance highlights and an update on membership growth in the region.

The business agenda offered time to spend highlighting the professional aspects of doing business across the region's jurisdictions and learning about different ways to collaborate. The Executive Office team also outlined current and future plans to drive growth opportunities to alliance member firms.

Throughout the conference, and to assist with the development of strong personal relationships, delegates and companions enjoyed the opportunity to experience the social and cultural highlights of this historic city, including the city's many rooftop bars and restaurants, and the Primaverii Palace (House of Ceauşescu).

Giles Brake comments:

"I am delighted that so many new and existing members joined us for our first ever event in Romania and the inaugural meeting for the CEE/SEE region.

"The alliance has a strong regional footprint in this part of Europe and is positioned perfectly to provide a unique blend of professional services expertise to middle market companies needing support right across the region. A big thank you to our member firms SORA & Associates and Prospect Consult for their hospitality and support.”

In the CEE and SEE region, AGA currently has representatives in the following countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Hungary, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Turkey.
