Ellisons Solicitors was delighted to announce seven promotions at the firm this Spring.

New partner

Natalie Simpkins, a solicitor within the Insurance Litigation department, has been appointed as a Partner, having spent the previous two years as an associate.

New associates

Ellisons has also promoted six lawyers to the position of Associate. They include Joe Brightman (Property Litigation), Jennie Kingham (Private Client), Scott Porter (Dispute Resolution), Ceri Rogers (Dispute Resolution), Susan Ryan (Commercial Property) and Edward Weaver (Insurance Litigation).

The firm comments that the promotions this spring "reflect the overall contributions each individual has made to their relevant departments, and in turn, to the success of the firm."

Global reach is a powerful differentiator for clients and staff

Ellisons prides itself in offering an excellent service to its clients and contacts, and can offer a greater breadth and depth of expertise, and (also) a global reach through its Alliott Group membership

Seamus Clifford adds: "The firm is positive that Natalie and the new associates will all strive to emulate that success."

Ipswich expansion

In other news, Ellisons has expanded its office space in Ipswich for the third time in three years, following increasing demand from clients. The latest move has enabled Ellisons to double its square footage.

Guy Longhurst, Senior Partner at Ellisons Solicitors, comments: ‘‘The Ipswich office, which now has 26 members of staff, has been a huge success since it opened in 2014. Our Suffolk client base continues to grow and as such the need for more space, lawyers and support staff has become vital to ensuring our clients receive the excellent client experience they have come to expect."
