Alliott Global Alliance (AGA), one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing multidisciplinary alliances, is pleased to announce that its Zimbabwe member firm, Muvingi & Mugadza Legal Practitioners (Muvingi & Mugadza), has been shortlisted in two categories at the 2026 IFLR Africa Awards.
Muvingi & Mugadza in Harare has been shortlisted for National Law Firm of the Year (Zimbabwe), while the firm’s Managing Partner, Nyasha Munyuru, has been recognized in the Lawyer of the Year (Zimbabwe) category.
Now in its sixth year, the IFLR Africa Awards celebrate outstanding legal work across the continent, recognizing leading deals, law firms, in-house teams, and individual lawyers. The 2026 awards highlight some of the most notable achievements of 2025 and will be presented at a ceremony on 17 March 2026 at the Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town, South Africa.
IFLR’s awards are distinguished by their focus on legal innovation in dealmaking, including the development of pioneering legal frameworks, novel transaction structures, and work that sets new industry benchmarks. The awards also recognise contributions that strengthen Africa’s cross-border investment environment.

“We are honoured to be recognised by the IFLR Africa Awards in two categories,” said Nyasha Munyuru, Managing Partner of Muvingi & Mugadza (top right and with the team).
“This double shortlisting is a testament to the dedication and expertise of our team. We remain committed to delivering innovative, high-quality legal solutions in Zimbabwe and across the region, and we are proud to see our efforts acknowledged on this prestigious platform.”
Being shortlisted in two categories is a testament to Muvingi & Mugadza’s commitment to excellence and the highest professional standards. The firm and its team are warmly congratulated on this achievement.
