Alliott Group, one of the world’s most established multidisciplinary alliances of professional firms, is delighted to announce the expansion of its UK based Executive Office team.

As of 1st May 2019, Damien McMenamin will join the team as the Head of Global Business Development and will work closely with Sophia Rook-Blackstone, Membership Development Executive, to drive the continued growth of the alliance’s membership and the group’s overall commercial value.

This latest appointment is part of a strategy to add growth resources to the Executive Office team and follows Giles Brake’s elevation in January 2019 to the COO role. The alliance, now approaching its 40th year in business, has its sights set on further international expansion and consolidation of its presence in key economic centres.

Giles Brake, COO, comments: “I am delighted to bring Damien on board as part of a strengthened Executive Office team that will drive the alliance towards our goal of becoming a Top 10 ranked alliance. Alliott Group has huge potential as a growth resource for independent firms with an international mindset and for companies involved in multi-market business that do not want to work with the big consulting firms. Damien’s commercial experience and knowledge of the ever-changing challenges facing professional services firms will help to accelerate our development and, just as importantly, to retain the valuable business of our existing members.”

Damien comes to Alliott Group from a senior management background within business development at the Association of Accounting Technicians headquartered in London. His career has seen him work in business development and in education management in various locations across the world including Los Angeles, Prague, London and Belfast.

Damien comments: "I am very excited to be joining Alliott Group and being part of the entrepreneurial and marketing-led culture that runs through the alliance. I have a strong belief in this distinctive brand and the wide range of services available. I very much look forward to meeting our members worldwide, including at the EMEA Regional Conference in Dubai, and to bringing my enthusiasm and passion to this exciting and forward-thinking alliance."
