Bowman & Company merges with local CPA firm

The James Company will transition its clients and staff to Bowman & Company on 1 November 2017.
Bowman & Company, an Alliott Group member firm and the largest accounting firm in Stockon, CA, will merge with The James Company on 1 November, 2017.
Founder John James started The James Company in 1996 and approached Bowman & Company several years ago as he wanted to find a home for his clients ahead of his eventual retirement.
Partner Jeanne Russick comments: “We both have similar work styles and after a lot of great discussions, we decided this would be a good fit." John James becomes a Principal of Bowman as his clients and staff transition into Bowman & Company.
