In this regular section which appears in our APAC region's newsletter, a selection of our members in the region share a snapshot of the collaborative referrals they have received and worked on from across the APAC region and internationally.

Baumgartners:

David Baumgartners at Baumgartners, Brisbane and Melbourne, Australia

There was a lot of activity this quarter between Baumgartners in Australia and fellow member firms around the world. This included providing a quote to Alliotts in London to carry out single joint expert witness services in a UK divorce case that included UK and Australian assets. Manus Brady & Co, AGA’s law firm in Ireland requested franchising advice for a client based in Melbourne and Baumgartners worked with Audalis in Germany, after the latter required tax advice for a client selling shares in a Berlin-based company.

Baumgartners and Alliott NZ also worked together after the former identified potential new business analytical software for the firm which Alliott NZ already uses. Mentoring support from Alliott NZ colleagues has been instrumental in helping with the decision-making process.

Alliott NZ Limited

Vanessa Williams at Alliott NZ, Auckland

The firm referred a retail client to accounting member Baumgartners in Melbourne. The client is looking at suitable structures for them to undertake activities in Australia.

Lawrence Cheung CPA:

Amie Cheung at Lawrence Cheung CPA Company Ltd, Hong Kong

Alliotts in the UK referred a client to the firm for auditing services.
BBS, AGA accounting member firm in Portugal referred a client to Lawrence Cheung for accounting and auditing services and Lawrence Cheung referred a client to H.Y. Leung & Co in Hong Kong for China Attesting services.
