Biography
Howard Grobstein has been practicing as an accountant, financial advisor, and consultant in litigation and forensic accounting matters for more than 25 years. Mr. Grobstein is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
Mr. Grobstein’s experience in business consulting is based on years of experience serving clients at all phases of their life cycles. He provides guidance to start-ups as well as companies either wanting to grow or facing financial challenges. His experience includes systems set-up, processes for all business cycles, internal control implementation, cost-savings, analytics, strategic and growth planning, business plan modeling and financial reporting.
Mr. Grobstein’s experience as an independent professional and fiduciary includes acting as a receiver, partition referee, independent board member, interim/fractional CFO and controller, chief restructuring officer, liquidating trustee, disbursing agent, paymaster, and bankruptcy trustee. Howard has also represented others in these same capacities as their accountant and financial advisor.
Howard frequently provides litigation consulting and expert witness services and has testified in federal and state courts, U.S. Bankruptcy Courts and at arbitration hearings. He has conducted fraud examinations and forensic reconstructions in cases involving over a billion dollars at issue.
