Biography
Hector is a Founding Partner of PALOMO ABOGADOS in charge of the Corporate and Intellectual Property departments of the firm, recognized for his ability to comprehensively address complex cases in terms of legal and commercial strategy in both branches; providing effective solutions to clients in different areas and industries such as pharmaceutical, technology, consumer products, cosmetics and beverages, among others.
In the area of Corporate Law he leads a team of lawyers and has a solid knowledge of the regulations. He advises national and international clients in different transactions, such as acquisition of companies, dissolution and liquidation of companies, as well as business strategies, anticipating possible future contingencies.
In the area of Intellectual Property, he advises clients mainly in actions related to trademark infringement, unfair competition, as well as piracy and counterfeiting of products in Guatemala and other Latin American countries.
