Biography
Marina Polyakova is an Audit Principal with over 22 years' experience auditing nonprofit organizations, closely-held international corporations, and employee benefit plans She started her career with Ernst & Young in Moscow, then Washington, DC, before joining Rogers & Company nearly 15 years ago. She works on audits of many national and international organizations, associations, charities, political organizations, and social welfare organizations. Marina advises Board's on financial and audit results, best practices, and operational strategy. Marina holds an M.S. in Accounting from the Finance Academy of the Russian Federation, and is a Certified Fraud Examiner. She is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs, Greater Washington Society of CPAs, and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
