Deutsch Miller, Alliott Global Alliance's law firm representative in New South Wales, has recently advised on a series of notable corporate transactions in Australia, spanning venture capital fundraising, growth capital investment and M&A across the technology and consumer sectors. A US$27.2 million Series D for AI-enabled brain technology company Omniscient Neurotechnology, two inbound cross-border sales to UK and Irish groups, and the acquisition of the swim school founded by the parents of Olympic great Emma McKeon are among them. Each is summarised below.

Omniscient Neurotechnology's US$27.2 million Series D - Venture Capital - May 2026
Deutsch Miller advised Omniscient Neurotechnology (o8t), the Sydney-founded medical technology company, on multiple fundraising rounds, most recently its US$27.2 million Series D financing. The Deutsch Miller team was led by partner Alistair Jaque, who has acted for the company across its successive rounds.

Aquabliss acquires McKeon Swim Schools - Corporate and M&A - April 2026

The Deutsch Miller team was led by partner Alistair Jaque.

Australian Business Growth Fund invests in NEXA Group - Growth Capital - March 2026

These deals continued the momentum of a successful 2025, in which the corporate team acted on three further notable transactions, including two inbound cross-border sales:
