Biography
Michela graduated in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University in 2014. After a research experience with UNDP in Bratislava first and at Associazione LaVoce.info, an Italian media company focused on political science, she became head of marketing and events at AIFO, Italian Family Office Association. She attended the Master Protection, Transmission and Management of Family Assets at the 24Ore Business School in Milan, coordinated by STEP Italia, and she became a STEP member in 2017.
In 2019, she co-founded Family Strategy, an Italian advisory firm that serves families as an outsourced family office, as an extension of their family office, or managing special mandates and projects for families as needed. She specializes in providing multigenerational families, their family offices, and trustees with a clear purpose for their wealth and a long-term strategy. A significant part of her job is channelling capital into effective philanthropy.
In 2021, she became a chartered tax advisor, advising international clients in the freight-forwarding niche and in the e-commerce sector on their Italian businesses and branches. Her area of expertise are: tax regulation in the non-profit sector, Transfer Pricing, freight-forwarding, VAT, impatriate regimes and relocations, Trusts and estate planning, cross-border estates, family businesses and family offices.
In 2024, she joined the tax area of Studio Internazionale.
She volunteers in several Associations and she is the treasury manager of STEP - The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners for the Italian branch.
