Biography

Karen Dobson is based in London and St Albans (Hertfordshire) and has specialised in commercial litigation for over 25 years. The respected Legal 500 describes Karen as 'an unflappable and determined litigator who always goes the extra mile.' Clients appreciate her no-nonsense and commercially-minded approach to commercial litigation. Chambers UK 2018 says: 'Karen Dobson is recognised for her strong track record in banking and insolvency disputes. ' Karen deals with a wide variety of commercial litigation matters, from contractual disputes to professional negligence claims, and has particular experience and expertise in dealing with asset finance and insolvency litigation. Karen joined Sherrards in 2004 from a local niche firm, having previously spent a lengthy period in the City. She became a Partner in the Litigation department in 2010 and assists Head of Department Paul Marmor with managing the St Albans and London commercial litigation & dispute resolution team. Karen is an Associate Member of R3, the Association of Business Recovery Professionals.
