Biography

Julius advises domestic and international clients on M&A transactions with particular emphasis on private equity, growth, and venture capital transactions. Julius holds extensive experience in advising international corporations, private equity investors as well as SME's and start-up founders on complex acquisitions, divestments and related shareholders' and joint venture agreements.

He also regularly advises clients on broad range of corporate issues in boardroom advisory role, including chairing shareholders meetings, as well as on creation of incentive plans for the management and employees, and on complex internal corporate restructurings and reorganisations.

Clients appreciate Julius from his ability to seek hands-on solutions to complicated matters and his responsiveness, project management skills and commercial mindset.

In addition to his transactional and corporate advisory work, Julius also frequently advises their clients in cloud computing, technology outsourcing and licensing projects for both IT service providers as well as their clients in the customer-side. In addition, he offers general commercial and contract law advice to clients and has in-depth industry knowledge from technology, private equity, fintech, energy and media sectors.

Before joining Byro, Julius worked for several years at Bird & Bird's corporate & M&A team. Julius is also a member of the Finnish Sport Law Association.
