Biography

Heikki advises a range of industrial clients on technology projects, R&D, licensing, commercialization, and outsourcing. In addition to project delivery, Heikki's practice encompasses a wide range of day-to-day commercial legal issues including information security, privacy, intellectual property rights and commercial contracts. Heikki has extensive industry experience from technology, telecoms, and heavy industry.

Prior to joining Byro, Heikki worked as a Lead Counsel at F-Secure, a publicly listed information security provider, and before that he held various in-house counsel positions at Nokia, Comptel and Cargotec, all of which are globally known public companies.

Heikki's extensive experience as a business-driven in-house counsel makes him an invaluable asset to Byro's clients and he is an esteemed and established professional in his field. Heikki has also held board positions in companies in the technology sector and has in-depth knowledge on the ins and outs of both technical and commercial drivers for technology related assignments.

In addition to working with public companies and advising established international and domestic clients in legal aspects relating to the development and commercialization of technologies Heikki provides innovative and straightforward legal solutions for growth companies operating particularly in the technology sector.
