Biography

Emilio Cornejo Vernaza is an attorney and a representative for the Panama investor visa. Based in Panama City, Panama, he is one of the founding partners of Panama Global Solutions, a law firm founded in 2008 in Panama City with more than 25 combined years of experience in several fields of law, including 10 years in immigration law. The firm has helped thousands of clients from the United States, Canada, Europe and Latin America get permanent residency permits in Panama.

In addition to his law practice, Vernaza is an active lecturer at immigration and investment conferences. He has traveled to Bogota, Medellin, Caracas, Maracaibo, Puerto Ordaz, Madrid and Vienna to give presentations.

Prior to founding Panama Global Solutions, Vernaza worked for the law firm Martinez & Estribi in Panama City as an associate attorney in 2006 and 2007. He specialized in immigration, international commercial, tax and real estate law.�Vernaza passed the Panama bar in 2005. He is also a licensed real estate broker and Realtor.

He is a graduate of the University of Panama, where he earned a law and political science degree and was a member of student law associations. In 2006, Vernaza earned his LL.M. degree in international commercial and trade law from VU University Amsterdam, where he studied securities regulation, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, accounting and other fields.

In addition to his native language of Spanish, Vernaza is fluent in English.
