Biography

Andres is the Managing Partner at Spingarn. He focuses his professional practice on the tax and corporate areas.
Tax area: handling of administrative challenges and reassessment processes, judicial processes for appeal, advisory on assessment processes, tax advisory, risk and contingency assessment, tax planning and tax efficiency instruments, application of doble taxation agreements, transfer pricing analysis.
Corporate area: business conversions, mergers, acquisitions, development of corporate governance strategies.
In his 20 years of professional experience, Andres worked as Lawyer and Consultant for the Internal Revenue Services (Ecuador), and also as Manager for the International Tax Services Division at Ernst & Young. He currently serves as Consultant for some of the most important companies and holdings of Ecuador.
